FungiAtHome is reader-supported. We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this site, at no extra cost to you.
1. What “affiliate” means here
FungiAtHome participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may use other affiliate programs. When we link to a product and you purchase (or complete a qualifying action) after clicking, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price you would otherwise (subject to the retailer’s pricing).
Our sole Amazon Associates tracking tag for this Site is: fungiathome-20
Example link shape: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN?tag=fungiathome-20
2. Where you may see links
- Buying and decision guides under Essentials (for example, how to choose a grow kit)
- Start, species, methods, and problem articles that mention kits, humidity tools, or related gear
- Programmatic product pages under Products (ASIN detail pages generated from guides—not hand-written “lab reviews”)
- Occasionally tools pages that soft-recommend a role of gear after a checklist
3. What we will not do for commissions
- No fake “I tested 12 kits in my lab” claims invented for rankings
- No pay-for-placement Top 10 lists sold to brands as the main content model
- No pretending educational hubs are storefronts. Essentials teaches how to choose a role; Products is where a specific ASIN lives
- No hiding this disclosure. Footer links here; product-heavy pages may also note reader support
4. Editorial independence
Recommendations are framed as scenarios (“best first kit for a kitchen counter,” “skip bags until you have one successful harvest”), not as guaranteed yields. We may update picks when products change. Commission rate does not decide which growing path we recommend—your species, space, time, and kit instructions always come first.
5. Amazon-specific notes
- As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Prices, stock, shipping, and Prime eligibility are controlled by Amazon and can change.
- Product images on ASIN pages, when present, come from Amazon’s program—not AI fakes of reviews.
- Amazon’s own terms and privacy policy apply once you are on Amazon’s site.
6. Other retailers
If we add other affiliate networks later, the same principles apply: disclosure, no fake labs, and education first. We will update this page when programs change materially.
7. Free tools
Helpers on Tools (when live) are free and do not require an email signup. They may soft-link to product types after results; commissions never change the logic of a checklist. Tools are not laboratory diagnoses.
